The Board considered a resolution urging a ban on new offshore drilling and fracking in federal and state waters in the Pacific Ocean and a ban on new federal oil and gas leases in the Pacific, Atlantic, and Arctic Oceans and the Gulf of Mexico. Supervisor Ronen requested to be added as a co-sponsor. The resolution was adopted.
